My Path: How People – and Nature – Became the Starting Point Instead of the Product

If I were to start a new business today, I would build it on completely different foundations than I did twenty years ago. Back then, I believed that success required a good product – something that could be positioned, launched, and tailored to fit market demand. I spent countless hours analyzing brands, market gaps, and competitors.
But now I know that a product – no matter how good it is – can be trendy today and obsolete tomorrow. A platform may boost you today, and change its algorithm tomorrow. A model might work now, and become irrelevant later.
What truly endures are human relationships and the unchanging power of nature.
That’s why today – if I were to start again – I would begin with people. And with a system built on natural, pure plant-based active ingredients. Because what has worked since the beginning of time is still needed today. Nature created it in perfect form – we just need to find our way back to it.

Stability in an Uncertain World
The stability of traditional businesses once came from regulated markets and predictable demand. But today, the fate of a product can hinge on a single platform update. A political decision or global economic event can wipe out entire sectors.
I’ve been through this myself. There were times when a carefully built business model simply became unviable – and I had to start over.
That’s why I chose to build a business not on trends, but on the power of people and nature.
On a system where it’s not algorithms, price wars, or production capacity that dictate – but real relationships, and a product that has always been perfect because nothing is added or taken away from nature’s creation.
This is what the dōTERRA system means to me. Flexible, human, enduring. And because of that – stable.
Meaningful Work – Powered from Within
For a long time, I chased growth. KPIs, results, leads, campaigns – I tried it all. But something always felt missing.
Then I began to think differently: what does it mean to do meaningful work?
To me, it’s when I see that what I offer truly helps others move forward. That what I do genuinely impacts people’s lives.
In dōTERRA, I experienced this for the first time – that what I pass on is not just useful, but healing. The products I work with are not mere commodities – they are pure, natural plant essences backed by global expertise, ancient tradition, and lived experience.
And that alone is motivating. Because in those moments, I’m not "working" – I’m living my calling.
A Community That Holds You Up – And Never Leaves You Behind
I’ve been a leader, decision-maker, responsible business owner. But honestly: many times, I felt alone. The competition, the pressure to perform, the constant stress – it closed me off.
When I started building a network – not in a hierarchy, but by uplifting each other – I had a completely different experience.
Today, I’m part of a community where we learn from each other, support each other, and grow together. We don’t withhold information – we share it. We don’t fight for positions – we create value.
This is what the new work culture means to me. Not in an office, not in a hierarchy – but in a human space where everyone contributes something.
An Income I Shape – Not Someone Else
In the past, I sold my time. Sometimes it paid well – but I never got that time back.
Now I know: my most valuable asset is my time. The time I can give to others. The freedom to decide when, with whom, and how much I work. And to know that my income doesn’t depend on someone else’s decision – but on the impact I can make in others’ lives.
The dōTERRA business model is built on this: growth comes through human relationships – and with it, income. Not a salary, not a commission – but impact-based income.
And that’s what makes it not only freer – but truly inspiring.
In Summary: Today I’d Start With People – and the Power of Nature
If I were starting over, I wouldn’t look for the "big idea." I wouldn’t compete with capital-rich multinationals. I wouldn’t hop from campaign to campaign.
I would build in a system where the greatest value lies in people – and in nature itself.
Because while the world changes, one thing is certain: people will always want to connect. And they will always need clean, trustworthy, natural solutions.
That’s what I represent. And if you’re also looking for your path – maybe this is the right place to start that conversation. Keep in touch >>
